I am currently using Microsoft Windows XP SP3 (32-bit) and I have
finally decided to switch to Windows 7. I will probably install Windows
7 Home Premium 64-bit.
After I get Windows 7 64-bit installed, I will also have to re-install
Microsoft Office 2007 (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint). As I have
been using Office 2007 for several years on my XP machine, I have done
some customizations to the above-mentioned software. (Ribbons, Quick
Access Toolbar icons, signature file for Outlook, fonts, autocorrect,
additions to standard dictionary, and who remembers what else...)
How do I transfer all these customizations from one OS to the other?
Would Windows Easy Transfer automatically do that for me?
I think Windows Easy Transfer will take care, among other things, of
exporting/importing things that pertain to Outlook (such as e-mails and
contacts), but I am not so sure about customizations that I have made
through the years to Office programs. Is there a (free) utility out
there that will do this?
Thanks.
