Export as web page

I’m using Microsoft Publisher 2002 to created a Newsletter. Then I “Export
as web pageâ€, then up load to my web site. The problem started after I got a
new computer with a TFT LCD flat panel Monitor. Now the old newsletter when I
view them the text and images has moved from where I placed them
when laying out the page. If I redo do them “Export as web page†from my new
computer then when I view them they look OK BUT when others View them they
are messed up the text and images has moved from where I placed them.
I need to Publish the newsletter then post it on the website so EVERYONE can
read it.

Thanks for the help.

Hi,
Is your new monitor running a different resolution (screen size) ...
probably larger? It's possible that the HTML version of the newsletter looks
better at (for example) 800 x 600 that 1024 x 768, or vice versa.

Hope this helps,

Hi,
Sorry... no other ideas except that maybe changing the View> Text Size in IE
will help.

What is the resolution of the new flat panel? And what was your old
resolution? And what is the page width setting of the web publication? Likely
what you are seeing is difference between the previous resolution (probably a
standard one) and the new one (probably one of the new HD ones) and the ratio
comparison. Since Publisher is coding in absolute positioning, meaning an
object is fixed at an x/y coordinate (pixels) on the screen, the layout may
look different in a newer resolution with a different height to width ratio.
