Export calendar entries from Outlook 2K

i've just discovered an export problem in Outlook 2K. i want to
export all appointments, notes, etc., from the current calendar
to a Windows *.CSV file. every attempt ends with a MAPI error,
"MAPI error 0080004002 was reported". and the dialog suggests
i try again later.

this box is on a small home network, there are no servers or DNS.
i simply use Calendar to keep track of appointments. it seems
everything else in Outlook works normally. does anyone recognize
this error number? have a work-around/fix? thanks...

Why are you using a .csv file for export? What is the use you see for this
file? I would simply export the calendar folder as a .pst file and then
import it on the machine where it is required. Much easier.

convenience. the 'use' is for import to another account, so that i can
avoid manual re-entry of everything. i tried export to *.pst, and that
does work, thanks. still, i should be able to export to *.csv, and now
suspect i have some other mysterious little problem with Outlook.

now, i'm off to find a fix to a Visio problem...
