Export Calendar items to iPod notes

According to Apples website, I should be able to export calendar items from
within Entourage. It states the following:
iPod also supports industry-standard iCalendar and vCalendar files, which can
be exported by many applications including Microsoft Entourage, Microsoft
Outlook, and Palm Desktop. iCal also works with the iPod calendar. Simply drag
your iCalendar or vCalendar files to your iPod, and you can access your
calendar even when you are away from your computer.

Can someone tell me how to export vCalendar (or iCalendar) files? Is this
the same as archiving calendar events? Is it the same file format?

By the way, I'm running Office 2004 (latest updates) on a Powerbook G4 (OS
10.3.9).

You can export iCalendar files simply by dragging events from the Entourage
Calendar to the Desktop.

It might be easier to use an application like iPDA to synchronize your
events with the iPod.

Thanks for the info on iPDA. The name sounded vaguely familiar, but I
don't think that I knew or realized that it worked with Entourage.
That sure would save time, money, and hard-drive space by not having do
duplicate my Entourage info in iCal and Address Book also.

Have you actually tried the program?

I use iPDA on a regular basis and have for some time. It's great to be able
to easily load my iPod with events from my Entourage calendar.
