export categories

i use outlook 2000.
when i export my contacts to excel the categories my contacts are assigned
to are not included. i have tried to solve the problem through the map custom
fields but categories are not available for export.
does this mean i cannot export categories?

I don't think you can export categories without third-party tools. See this:
