Export Contacts from Excel to Contacts in OutLook

When Contacts are entered into Excel, How exactly should they be entered into
Excel so they can be Imported into my Contacts in Outlook 2003? I get the
message error: An error has occured in Microsoft Excel Translator while
getting contents of a file system. The Microsoft Excel file has no name
ranges. Use Microsoft Excel to name the range of data you want to import. I
don't get understand what I am suppose to do with my Excel sheet that has my
names address' email phone numbers etc.

- Open your Excel file
- Make sure there is one header row above the contact data, no more and no less
- Select the cells with contacts (including the header row)
- choose Insert, name, define and type a name for that area
- OK, save and close the file
- now retry the import
