export data problem

Hi All, I use a Hummingbird BI Query program - whenever I
run a query for data and export the data to 2002 Excel, I
get strange characters in various cells that looks
arabic. My previous 2000 Office Excel version worked
well with the export.

I'm not sure what Hummingbird BI Query does, but can you transfer your data to a
plain text file (to see if its excel or Hummingbird).

Then you could always just File|Open the text file (and go through the wizard).
