export description of a table

I am able to export a field name from a table but how do i export the
datatype and description along with the field name? Is it possible to export
the description of a table? Thanks.

To my knowledge you can't export this info. However, you can print it out.
Check under the Tools menu in Access for the Documenter. This makes a report
of all your table structures.
