export former Excel spreadsheet to Word

I used onenote to collect a number of different pieces of text and also
copied and pasted Excel Spreadsheet to OneNote. When I tried to copy the
finished document to Word the Excel tables lost formatting. Any suggestions?

The text portion were fine but the pasted Excel part lost any thing remotely
resembling form. The table was not recognizable. The data was there but
scattered about.

Bill,

My guess is that you are seeing a symptom of OneNote's current
weakness in supporting "tables". OneNote uses a tabbed system at the
moment, unfortunately, and it doesn't work well.

Improvements in table handling have been asked for many, many times on
the newsgroup. I am *sure* that the product team know that better
table support is keenly desired in the next version.
