Export Grid to Excel

I am using the Export grid to Excel feature to get data from PWA t
Excel so I can do some analysis. However, when the data is exported i
is in text format. Does anyone know how I can convert the data t
numbers (i.e. 450h to 450), so that I will be able to manipulate?

Thank you,

What happens when you select the column in Excel and use format cells and
select number?

Hi Gary!

Thank you for responding. I have tried reformating the cells als
converting from text to numbers, however I have not had any success.
thought perhaps there was a function either in Excel or VBA that I coul
try and implement, but I haven't found one yet. I'm thinking the reaso
I am having so much difficulty, is because Microsoft PWA includes
decriptor of "h", in the same cell as the number so the entire cell i
treated as text. I think the actual format put into the cell by PWA i
'450h'. I hope this additional information helps to clarify the issue
little more.

Thank you for any help or suggestions you can give me.

Thank you,

Mike

Ah yes, forgot about the 'h' - well how about recording a macro that
searches the column for 'h' and replaces it with nothing, and then formats
the column to number?

Hi Gary!

That's a great idea, I will try it and let you know how it works.
won't get to it until later this morning or early this afternoon,
have meetings to attend.

Thank you very much for the good suggestion.

Thank you,

Mike
