Hi all,

i need help about a feature of InfoPath about export to Excel. Long story
short: I created a template to record some information about a group of
person; so I have Name, Surname, e-mail, etc.. and I have a serie of tables
with some data about history of seniority, hostory of courses, and so on.

When I try to export, to have a sort oh a pivot table, I actually obtain
something very unreadable, with a lot of rows per name, and so on.

I tried to read the .xml files with Access, but it is not possibile.

How can I export data of my .xml files in a pretty format?

Thanks in advance.

Export to Excel is tough, especially if you want it to look good. I have
created specific views for the export but it still is limited and requires
the user to go through many steps.

What I have found which is much better is to have your data in a database
and then you can create spreadsheets which pull their data directly from the
DB. That way InfoPath users are not inconvenienced and you can make a
spreadsheet which has the latest data each time it opens.
I use the Database Accelerator to make this happen. http://www.qdabra.com
