Export including events??

I recently installed a new hard drive in my computer. I
spent hours backingup files and folders so I would have
all my info to put back on the new drive. I exported my
calendar and though it would take all my calendar info
with it, but when I imported the file I backed up I just
got and empty calendar. How or can I back-up a calendar
including all events?

What kind of file did you export to? A .PST file would have been the
best choice...
