export members of a distribtuon list from outlook to excel

outlook 2002 and excel 2002
I am wanting to export a distribution list to excel so
that have the members and their email listed.

i copied the distribution list to its own contact folder
and then tried exporting it but all i get are the
headings. i have been exporting to a csv. i know how to
export to get all the other contact info, but not the info
that is on a "second level" the info inside the
distribution list.

You can't export DL's to another format.
Kust save it as an RTF file, then open it in Word, clean it up, make sure
each field has a header, then save it as a txt file.
Open the txt file in Excel. Map it as a tab or comma delimited file.
