I have designed a template which includes a background page. The template is
used for documenting the flow of enterprise processes and data. The shape
data is exported into a SQL Server database where it can be queried to see
where enterprise elements are shared and, thereby affected by changes. These
documents are several pages long so I copy all the shapes (without their
connectors) to one "export page" on which I run the export wizard. I am
trying to add some legend information fields (created by, creation date, etc)
to my template and subsequent documents and SQL Server database. It should
be visible on all pages, but the shape data should be active on the export
page. If I use a shape on a background page, the data is not active and
available for export on the export page but it does display on all pages.
Any ideas?
