export outlook contacts to csv

Hi, Gurus,
I am using the trial version of outlook 2003, and I need to export the
contacts to a csv file (to import into msn messenger). However, on opening
the import / export option, export to a file, and choosing csv (windows)
there are no folders to choose from. I have tried exporting to tab separated
values and to excel, but the only option that allows exportation is to
another pst file. Can anyone help me get my contacts into a csv file?

Did you create a new mail profile after the installation?
Control Panel-> Mail-> button Show Profiles...

Ah, ha.
Was I supposed to?
What I did do was to open my original .pst file, and then cut and paste all
the folders into the new .pst file. However, I now have three "personal
folders" in the folder bar, and I can't get rid of them, the same with the
tasks, contacts, calendars, etc.
Would creating a new profile allow me to sort these out into one big
personal folder?

Actually, just had a look, and there's just a default "outlook" one, but I
think that's how it was before, but when I look at data files, there are none
listed. If I create a new profile called myself, will I be able to move all
the emails, contacts, etc over to my profile, and discard all the other stuff
that I have amassed over the years?
