Export report with pictures

I am using the file pathname for pictures in my records and using a
proceedure to load them into image frames on my report, as I learned from
messages here. However, my client wants to be able to import the report to
another program such as Publisher to add highlights and other things to the
report before it is printed. When I export the report to Word, it only gives
the file pathname, not the pictures. Is there some way to make the pictures
show up in Word instead of the pathname?
Thanks for your help.

I think you are out of luck.

The only ways to get a report - other than within Access itself - which
contains graphic elements (and this includes things such as borders aroun
textboxes, or lines in reports) are to either print the report as a .pdf
file, or generate it as a .snp file via the SendObject command. Both these
methods give read-only files as their output (except, maybe, a full version
of Acrobat will let you open/edit an exported .pdf file). Exporting to Word
will always lose any graphical elements in the report.

PS. Why are clients so demanding, and un-appreciative of what we can give
them :)
