Export Spec Failed when Running From Outlook

In MS2007 I have created an export spec and linked to Outlook as a task,
however, when I click on Run Export Button it comes back with an error
"Export Spec Failed"? I've rebuilt the spec a few times won't clear error.
Can someone give me some suggestions on where to go from here? Thanks.
