sorry..I think I asked in a wrong group..I don't mean Save as using
VBA..manual Save As..
Anyhow, Visio installs ebtif2.flt but doesn't use this in my case -- I
wanted to know how to enable Visio to use this.
I think I cannot choose to use "ebtif2.flt" or not.
I am interested in what is the difference between "use and not use" and how
did you get to know that it is not used.
I am sorr, I could not found "ebtif2.flt" in my Visio2003 program folder nor
in my windos folder. Then, I would like to ask you what is the version of
your Visio.
First, I am using Visio 2002..it is in the 1033/Filters folder.
Regarding 'use and not use': If fir example, I save as PCX, the PCX Output
Filter setup appears -- the settings for these are saved in the ebpcx2.ini
file.
However, for TIF, the TIFF Output Filter Setup dialog does not appear.
Instead, the TIFF Output Options window appears.
Hence my conclusion that the ebtif2.* files are not used.
There is a refference that explains about the registory for "VisioExports
Subkey".
"In the VisioExports subkey, the text to the left of the equal sign (=) is
displayed in the File Type box in the Save As dialog box. The text to the
right of the equal sign is the filter file name and the file name extension
supported by that filter, separated by a comma. " http://support.microsoft.com/kb/298434/EN-US#XSLTH3132121123120121120120
I am not sure that it is useful or not.
