Export to Excel fails on office 2000 but not in 2003

Hello group:

First, sorry for my english.

I have a asp page that loads a pivotable object with
ConnectionString="Provider=MSPersist" and CommandText="<url to a xml
file generated with ADODB.Recordset.Save method"
The page run on version office 2000 and 2003 (changing the classid)
without problems.
When a user with office 2003 export to excel, everything is ok (a sheet
for a pivottable and other sheet for the data)
When a user with office 2000 export to excel, pivottable and data is
too imported to excel (and the data are correct) but the pivot table
seems not to work, is empty (has the headers that user configurated but
don't show data) and only works for the fields in the detail section.

Is there anybody that help me with this problem?
