Bill
I am running a macro from a form that inturn runs queries
and exports the information to excel files on a network
disk drive.
The form runs fine but excel gets an error on opening the
workbooks stating "invalid sheet name". Excel recovers
itself by renaming the sheet to "Recovered-Sheet1" and
presents a message you must acknowledge.
The macro has a dropdown box for output times and has a
generic "microsoft excel (.xls)" and a "microsoft excel 97-
2002 (.xls)" selecton. If I choose either selection the
box ends up showing "microsoft excel (.xls) so I can't be
certain what that really means.
Also, we just recentley upgraded from 97 to office xp.
Everything runs fine except for this strange quirk.
Any ideas or suggestions to correct this?
Thanks in advance for your assistance.
