Export to Excel

Hello! I can generate a report with my cash flow month by month. Is it
possible to export to excel the same way so that you can se your cash flow
monthly. Jan, Feb… and so on?

IceBall,
Absolutely, but it depends on how exact you want the export format to
follow the cash flow report. The most convenient method is to run the
"analyze timescaled data in Excel" utility from the Task Usage or Gantt
Chart view. You can find that utility on the "Analysis" toolbar.
Depending on the format you need, you will probably have to do some
manipulation in Excel and you may even have to do multiple exports.

To get a completely automated cash flow report in any format you need,
VBA is required. If you already know how to create Project VBA macros
but need a little help, post a message and we will be glad to help. If
you do not know VBA but would like to learn, fellow MVP, Rod Gill has an

Thanks!
Thats what im looking for! But now when I try this on my laptop nothing
happens when i press "analyze timescaled data in Excel"! No tool starts! It
works on my other computer! Why??

IceBall,
I sounds like there is a problem with your installation of Project on
your laptop. I would first try Detect and Repair under the Project Help
menu. If that doesn't help, I would then try re-loading Project and make
sure you do the full install.
