Export to iluustrator. Best format?

Hi guys.

I´m have to export a sheet with a graph, to be imported
in ilustrator and Quarkxpress. I was thinking of PDF but
i just can´t make an automatic name creation when i
create the pdf´s....

Is there another way of exporting the sheets "in
curves" ??? so that i can creat the name automaticly, via
a cell?
