Export to spreadsheet with password

I am trying to export an access table to an excel
spreadsheet that contains a password. I can not get a
round the error that it can't open the file. The end user
needs a password on the file and I don't want to do it
manually. Is there any way this can be done? I use Access
97 and excel 97.
