Export to Word

Anyone any views on the best to draw a horizontal line so that it also
appears in the exported document. To me it appears that it has to be a
series of dashes '-', but thought I would ask here in case I am missing
anything!!

Exporting to word only allows keyboard characters - no graphic objects.

So you are basically correct that to get a line you have to use dashes or
underscore characters.
