Exporting a Web in Frontpage 2002

Can someone please help me figure out how to export my web
in FP 2002 (and FP 98 if the process is different)? I
bought a new PC and need to move my web from the old one
to the new one so I can use it in Frontpage on the new
PC. Ideally, I would like to export it to an external USB
HD that I can use as the transfer "vehicle". Also, is
there any problem in importing a FP98 web into FP2002?

Is your web published to a live server??

If so, launch FrontPage on the new machine,
open your "live" web on the server in FrontPage,
and then select File > Publish and publish the
web to your new machine.

No, my web is on a standalone desktop. I need to get it
moved to another standalone desktop.

If you have a CD burner, publish your web
to a folder on your desktop.
Burn the folder to a CD
copy the folder to your new machine.
You will have to remove the "read only"
attributes from the files in the folder for
it to work correctly on your new machine.

also you can download a utility named RemoveR PRO
from here which will change the attributes for
all of the files in about 1/10th of a second.
( the download is named: remover.zip
