Exporting an AccessTable with Memo fields to an .xls file

I would like to use the Send To... feature to send data as
an .xls attachment in an email. The table I wish to
export has a few fields in the Memo format to allow for
additional text storage, however, when performing this
operation, these fields get truncated and data is lost.
Is there any work around for this ?
