Exporting Contacts to new computer...

I am pulling my hair out. I need to transfer my contact
list from the hand-me-down laptop I gave my wife to my
new Dell I-8500. Please help.

I have looked through and printed a whole slew of KB
articles without clearly understanding the procedure.

I just need to get this thing rolling ASAP...new job!!!!

Thank you for any help anyone can give me.
