I have a list of data in workbook 1, for example: a list from 1 to 1
each with a number value next to it.
i want to export the values to a cell in another workbook (workbook 2)
however, i only want certain values, say numbers 6 to 9 in the list.
i know i can do this by extracting the values themselves but it get
more complicated:-
i'm exporting the data from an accounting package and when i come t
update the list i may have input another number to the list so the lis
now goes from 1 to 11 with the new list number & value being in th
middle somewhere.
this means that all my formulae in workbook 2 will be out by one lin
because unlike adding a row where it compensates, i'm copying data o
top.
is there a way i can export the values by certain list numbers? then i
change the list it will still work
help would be much appreciated, cheers
PS: i apologise for being a bit longwinded with it
