Exporting data from the server while we are rebuilding.

Our IT folks have informed me that our installation of MSP Server is on the
"wrong" version of SQL Server for internal standards. As part of recitfying
this situation I am taking the opportunity to rebuild the server from scratch
(we have had too many problems with the current installation). There was
quite a bit of time invested in populating the resource pool that I would
like to save but I am not sure what the best way of capturing that
infromation for importing to the rebuilt server.

Ideas or suggestion are appreciated.

Gary,

The SQL Server that was installed was an Enterprise edition and we were only
allocated funds for the standard edition. It was a cost issue that we
cannot avoid.

Clarke:

Backup the databases and restore them on your new server when you've got it
built. It's almost as simple as that. You need to know what you're doing to
get everything working again, and to make life easy, don't change the server
name. But this should be a simple move for you.
