Exporting Data to MS Project, modifying data and import back

Is it possible to export data to MS Project from a Java application?
something like click a button in my application that will launch MS Project
with my data (which is Work Orders with some dates and Resource). From MS
Project, I want to change the dates on Work Order and re-import the data back
to my application.

Is this possible?

Yes. You can either use automation or save the data in MSProject database
format (see pjdb.htm in one of Project's program folders), then open the
project into Project and edit your dates. Save the project back to the
database then read from your Java app.

On the same note, is it possible to have an option in Toolbar of MS Project
to import data from Oracle Applications (something like Oracle Projects where
there is an Option provided in MS Project to launch Oracle Application?)

Thanks.

You can import data from any ODBC source. Make sure you have the latest ODBC
drivers for Oracle though as from memory Oracle is a bit fussy!
