Exporting data within .oft files to .xls

Hi There,

I am trying to work out a way of automating a very painful manual process of
cutting and pasting data held within the fields of customised .OFT files into
Excel.

I have a basic understanding of what I am doing and the only solution I have
managed is to save the file as TXT and then format into Excel.

Is their an easier way to extract the data easily?
