Exporting datasheet view of a form with a subform

I am using Access 2000.

When I display a mainForm with a subForm in datasheet
view, then export the mainForm to an Excel wookbook, I am
unable to add any of the resultant Excel columns that
contain currency type data.

I am able to add the Excel columns with number type data.

The problem only occurs with a form+subform in datasheet
view, not with a query+subquery(subdatasheet).

Can anyone tell me what is going on here.
