Exporting entourage calendar to exchange

We recently installed an exchange server and I am in the process of getting everything moved and set up on the server. I am currently using Entourage 2004, V 11.4.0 and can't figure out how to export or move all of my historic, current, and future calendar entries to the exchange calendar.

I tried doing an export and selecting only the calendar but it returns an error (something about group contacts) and will not complete the export. I've tried clicking and dragging the old calendar to the new exchange calendar icon but nothing happens.

Any suggestions?

I tried doing an export and selecting only the calendar but it

Click on the Calendar view button so that you can see both your Exchange
calendar and your local calendar in the folder list on the left.

Assuming you have nothing in your Exchange calendar yet, you can select
the All Events view under the Custom Views folder near the bottom of the
folder list. This should give you a full list of your events in the
window on the right. Select everything and drag to your Exchange
calendar and they will be copied to the server.

Create a custom view to display all your events. Select all in the list
and use the Copy or Move command to get them into the Exchange calendar,
