exporting from access 2000 error msg

I am trying to export an Access 2000 database into a text
file (*.txt,*.csv,...).
I keep receiving an error message "ActiveX component
can't create object".
Then it brings up a window named "mx_FrmMain : Form".
From here, if I click cancel I receive a
message "Subscript out of range".
Or, if I click next or finish, I receive a message "The
expression you entered refers to an object that is closed
or doesn't exist".
Then I have to click cancel just to close the window.

Anyway, the main thing here is I have been doing this
export for this specific file for months now with no
problems. So, since early August, something happened to
cause this.

Any help would be greatly appreciated...
