I am trying to export an Access 2007 database to a .csv formatted file, but
when I export it it doesn't come out in proper .csv format. It ends up in
some strange format that looks nothing like a .csv file. It uses dashes for
line breaks and pipes for field breaks. Where I work we regularly export data
to .csv format, however, it was normally done under Access 2003. In 2003 I
had the option to see how the data was going to look as well as the option to
export directly to a .csv file. In 2007 I can export it to a text file with a
..csv extension, but that is when the data comes out wrong, and I have no way
to preserve field headers or anything in 2007. Can anyone help me be able to
properly export without having to go back down to Access 2003?
