Exporting from OneNote

Okay - I see that API's exist to import content and the structure of that
content into OneNote programmatically. Very cool.

However I would like to export from Onenote to a backend database and
perform searches and threading on the information. I would like to do this
programmatically rather than save the document and file. I am thinking about
using OneNote for data collection and threading between multiple parties.

Perhaps I am missing the right article to read or API calls? Can this be
done? If it can - it could mean that OneNote can become a very powerful
interface module.

Currently you cannot export data out of OneNote, there is not an export API,
just an importer.

This is a known issue and I am sure that the OneNote team is aware of this
suggestion. I guess we will have to wait for the next version to see if it
is available.
