I am wondering if there is a way to export a high resolution still of
particular stage in a transitional sequence of a Power Point slid
without using a computer screen capture utility on the slide show.
I am a video producer who needs to find a better way to export hig
resolution images from Power Point. My interest is video documentatio
of presentations that include, but are not limited to, Power Point.
Then I author a DVD that is playable on both computer and set-top DV
players.
I also work on a Mac and have an older version of Power Point.
I have finsihed my last project and am now looking at how I might d
things better next time.
By searching this forum, I discovered that one needs to adjust th
custom slide size in Page Setup to adjust the resolution of th
exported graphic (using "save as"). Because I didn't know that, I use
a screen capture program on my computer on the slide presentation fo
where I needed higher resolution of a portion of a Power Point slide.
I adjusted the display window as large as I could to obtain the highes
resolution image I could capture this way.
However, it appears that I will still need to capture from the scree
in order to export a still with the appropriate stage in a transitiona
sequence for a slide, as an export from slide view flatten
everything.
I am wondering if there is some work-around to this problem, or i
there is a add-in for PPT (Mac) that allows the export of ful
resolution images from the slide show and the appropritae stage.
I image such exists for Windows, and it would include video export a
well
