Exporting Information to EXCEL from MSP 2003

Hi

I'm hoping someone can help me. I've used MSP 98 and have just been
up-graded to 2003 and now when I do a Data extract from MSP to Excel it has
started to export the Summary Task information as well as the task
information.

Is there a way to turn this off and purely get the basic task
information...just like in 98?

It's slowly driving me mad and i'm sure it's supposed to be helpful but it's
not to me!

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

OPPS....SIlly me it's MSP 2002 i'm now using now 2003 as previously stated.

Hello Tracey,

First, create a Task filter which will remove the Summaries:
Project / Filte For / More filters / create :
Field name : Summary
Test : equals to
Value : No

Then, create a map with all the fields you want Project / Save as / Type of
file : (Microsoft Workbook (xls)..
In the uper right corner of the last page, select your filter.
