Exporting items from Entourage database to Exchange or PST

I have an Entourage 2004 user who has a 1.7 GB Entourage database file. Most
of the data is under the Entourage "Folders on My Computer". Entourage is
setup to connect to our Exchange 2003 server.

I am switching this user to a Windows based PC with Outlook 2003. I want to
take all the mail under "Folders on My Computer" and move it to a couple PSTs
that Outlook can access.

The only way I have seen to do this, is to drag each folder individually
from the "Folders on My Computer" to her Inbox on Exchange, then in Outlook
drag them to the PST I setup.

This is extremely time consuming because she has about 100 folders and I
can't find a way to move more than 1 at a time.

Is there a tool or procedure for doing this? Like exmerge for
Outlook\Exchange?

Thank you for any help.

To the best of my knowledge this is the only way. A decent tool to
*import* a PST into Entourage hasn't even been developed let alone
*export*. Importing a PST file is a highly requested feature -- far more
than exporting.

Please be sure to let Microsoft know you'd like to see this feature in
future versions by using the Help --> Send Feedback mechanism in any
Office application.

Thank you for your reply Bill. There are so many features missing from
Entourage, I could sum up my feature request as "Make it like Outlook for
Pete's sake!"

Except doing so won't get you anywhere. Entourage and Outlook are separate
programs developed by separate teams with separate sets of priorities. There
are many features in Outlook that I don't want. There are many things about
Outlook that I hate.

Entourage is never going to be 'like Outlook.' Rather you need to request
*specific* features and behaviors that you want, and the suggestions that
are most-requested are the ones most-likely to be implemented.
