Exporting large tables

Is there some way to export over 250,000 records from a table in MS Access to
an Excel spreadsheet? I've heard that the limitation is in Excel. I am using
2003. Someone told me that if I had 2007, Excel could handle up to 1,000,000
records. Is that true? Is there any other way around it?
