Exporting more fields from Risks Issues to Excel

The current "Export to Spreadsheet" from Risks & Issues shows ver
high level info

Is there a way to export the details to excel

This will save alot of time from having to cut and paste the info

Rayis,

In order to get the details, what we've done is created a custom export view
in the list. It basically contains all of the fields and is totally unusable
on the screen. However, it allows you to export everything from the list.

In order to do this, go to Modify Settings and Columns, then scroll all the
way down and create a new view. This has to be done for each list.

There's also a way to do this in Word 2003 using a web component if you save
the document to a document folder on the site. I would walk you through this
but my Office 2003 install is acting a bit flaky today. Look under the
Insert menu in Word 2003. When you insert the list control, it allows you to
select the fields to display.
