Exporting MS Outlook contacts to MS Excel

I am running Vista and MS Office 2007. I also run a CardIris scanner

Problem 1:
I am getting this message when using the export feature to export the
contacts into MS Excel. I used to do this often without a porblem but now it
is not working. I get this message... "could not find installable ISAM".

Is there an easy solution.

Problme 2:
I have about 3000 contacts and just scanned a stack of cards (after about a
6 month break). But they are not exporting into MS Outlook -they did
previosuly- could this be related ot the above probelm?

Are you exporting to Excel or importing into Outlook?
Are you trying to import directly from the card reader? if so, does its
software support outlook 2007?

Do you have the import/export filters installed? Rerun setup and choose the
option to change installed features.

are for older versions of outlook/office.
