Exporting MS Project Data to Microframe Project Manager (MPM)

MicroFrame (now Business Engine) used to support a program which
create a flat file (comma-delimited) that can me used to export MS
Project data to MPM. I believe it was called Microframe Project Link,
or MPL. Does anyone know the structure of the export file (i.e. the
fields exported and the order of the fields)? I'd like to try to
create an application that does the same thing since MPL is no longer
in existence. Does anyone know of any other way of doing this?

Thanks!

JR,
I was waiting to see if anyone else answered your post, but no takers.
At my company we used Project as our planning/scheduling app and MPM as
the interface between the Project files and our financial system. I did
not work directly with MPM and I thought the interface was done via
FoxPro but perhaps I am wrong. I can't help you with MPL but there might
be a couple other methods for extracting the data from Project. One is
through VB. Project supports VB but I don't know if Microframe does. The
other approach is to query the Project database directly. For more
information on Project's database structure, look at PROJDB.htm. I don't
remember exactly where is is located but it should be in the same folder
as Project on your hard drive.

Hope this helps.
John
