Exporting PPT slides/handouts in black and white

PPT 2007. Help! I need to be able to export sets of slides in black and
white for inserting into Word documents. Or to be able to save black and
white handouts in PDF format. The goal is to be able to have an electronic
version of black and white slide presentations to print for classes. PPT 2007
seems only to be able to view but not save or export them. This was possible
under 2000 version but not since. Since many are having the same problem I am
hoping someone has the answer.
