Exporting Project to Excel and keeping some functioniality

Is it possible to export the task-view from Project to an Excel (pivot) sheet
and keeping the functionality Project is offering (lets call this the
"smart-change-functionality" in lack of a better word)?

So for example when you change start and/or finish datetime-values in excel
it will auto-correct the value for duration and also changes the appropriate
tasks and their values which directly depend on the changed task.

I know that you could link the data from the project-file to the excel sheet
though you will loose the possibility to change the data in excel at all.


Any help would be appreciated,

Not possible. That functionality is available in Project.
If you want to see the data arranged in different ways, consider a custom
grouping option in Project.
