I just posted this in another discussion group, but then found this one,
which is the right one for my question.
I have to do a fresh reinstall of Vista. This requires saving a lot of
stuff (files) so I can put them back into the computer once the Vista
reinstall is completed. I know how to do all this stuff, but exporting the
outlook stuff is a pain when doing it the conventional way. Is there any
reason why I can't just go into the Outlook Folder, using windows explorer,
and copy the Outlook Folder pst files to a CD rather than going through the
normal exporting process? And, if that's okay, is there any reason I can't
paste those files, off the CD, back into the Outlook folder once Vista is
reinstalled?
Thanks in advance?
