I am trying to export a report to Word but the graphics drop off the end
result. I will need to be able to edit the document in Word, so the pdf
suggestions I've seen here aren't suitable. I have had a look at Stephen
Lebans Report Utilities but I'm afraid I couldn't understand how to use it.
So I had a look at Mail Merge but I don't know how to specify that I just
want to merge the current record. I created a query with the criteria
[Forms]![FormName]![UniqueID] but each time I ran this (either in Access or
from Word) I was prompted to 'Enter Parameter Value', referring to the
criteria. Typing in the UniqueID produced the right result, but I'd really
rather not have to do this.
Incidentally, the query is the result of two joined tables, the Unique ID
coming from the 'many' side, just in case this makes any difference.
Ideally, having entered the data in an Access form and subform, I would like
just to click a button that will generate an editable Word document (a letter
with name, address etc from Access) and display the graphics (corporate logo
and, no, we don't have any pre-printed letterhead) - please can someone help
me by suggesting/explaining what I should be doing?
Thank you very much.
