Exporting Scatter chart with lines to Web Page

M

MichaelQuinlan

I am using Office 2003. I create a spreadsheet with most of the cells filled
but a couple of cells missing data. I insert an XY (Scatter) chart "with data
points connected by lines". The chart correctly does NOT connect the points
that are separated by missing data. Other points, which have all the
intermediate data, are correctly connected.

I publish the chart as a web page and open the page in a browser. Now the
points that are separated by missing data are incorrectly connected.

I can re-create this in a simple 4x4 spreadsheet, but I originally
encountered it in a much more complex application. If you need more
information I can email or post a complete example.

Hi,

Thanks for your posting!

I did not understand your scenario very much, can you post a simple sample
Excel Sheet with the data and a simple web page to use the data?
Also please elaborate your goal and steps and goal detailed so that I will
know your concern more clear.
You may reach me via removing "online" from my email address.

If I misunderstood or you have any concern, please feel free to post here.

Thanks!

Best regards,
