Hi guys,

Need to export some pages to a scalaable image format I now use:
page.export(filename.jpg)

I've tried with the *.svg format but it fails with an call stack frame
error.. what could I use other than the svg format ?

Hi ZyRaIN

I've exported to svg successfully before (Visio 2003), but if you're having
trouble with that you could try .emf or .wmf which are both vector (rather
than bitmap) formats.

Best regards

If I try to export to .emf or .wmf the image is "tacky" if I open it in
the actual size.. but when I zoom in it look good, what is the reason
for this ?

Hi there,

I'm not an expert on pic formats so no doubt there's a good technical
explanation for this. However I know from experience that it depends a good
deal on the target application. So, for example, for PowerPoint I export
using .emf images, but for Word I've found that .wmf behaves better. For
Adobe Acrobat there can be a huge change in selecting the correct 'Display'
settings in Edit/Preferences (ie for LCD displays and 'smooth line art'
etc.).

What's your target choice? Web page, pdf, other app?

Best regards

Hi John,

My target choice i webpage (html) which loads the images, later on I
want to make a zoom function that is why I need the image to be
scaleable.

Thanks in advance..

Sincerely
