exporting to excel from a D.A.P.

I need to export the data displayed on my DAP to an excel spreadsheet on the
viewer's PC. I was thinking I'd need to add a command button to the DAP and
put code behind it but have no idea how to start. I'd also like the viewer
of the page to be able to provide the filename for the excel spread sheet.
